"As a city planner, Mark served our community with thoughtfulness, patience, and deep respect for residents' questions and concerns. He has been a longtime leader in making our bike and walking routes safer. He retired last summer, and I can't think of a better person to represent District 6 on the Common Council."

Katy Nelson

Middleton City Council President

District 3 Alderperson

"Mark has served our neighborhood, city and region for 30 years--in elected office, city government, and volunteer roles. No one is more prepared to lead and know the issues and opportunities our city faces. Everyone knows Mark because he is an extrovert and the third funniest resident of District 6."

Kurt Paulsen

Middleton Hills resident

"We think that once voters compare the experience of the two candidates, Mark is the obvious choice for District 6. We enthusiastically endorse him."

Carla Anderson & Kevin Spitler

District 6 residents since 2007

"Mark is someone we know to be dependable, collaborative, and deeply committed to the community. He consistently steps up, lends a hand, and puts the needs of others first. His generosity with his time and energy reflects a genuine dedication to making our community stronger."

Carol Maki, Nancy Vickery, Courtney Ward-Reichard, Kristi Warriner (who collectively have more than 100 years of experience in the leadership and management of Middleton's annual community festival)
